With La Double Exposition, Laurent Durieux creates a rare encounter between the world of Blake & Mortimer and his own retrofuturistic imagination.

An internationally acclaimed Belgian artist, known for his work as a poster artist and illustrator, particularly in the field of alternative film posters, Laurent Durieux has a distinctive ability to convey an era, a sense of tension and an entire story in a single image.

In this adventure written by Sonja Shillito and James Huth, based on the characters created by Edgar P. Jacobs, Francis Blake and Philip Mortimer are drawn into a miniature world, trapped inside a futuristic city inspired by the Futurama exhibit at the New York World’s Fair. Miloch, Septimus, Voronov and a multitude of Olriks populate this strange stage: scientific, unsettling and wonderfully retro.

French Paper Art Club presents a selection of fine art prints from this album: pigment prints in very limited editions, numbered and signed by Laurent Durieux. A series created for collectors of comics, contemporary illustration and images with a strong graphic presence.
