Liorzh × Tristan Huschke

Experimental Collaboration Vol. 1

Liorzh invites Tristan Huschke

With Experimental Collaboration, Liorzh begins a new series of fine art prints based on a simple idea: bringing together two visual worlds, two sensibilities, and two distinct ways of composing an image.

For this first volume, he invites Tristan Huschke, a German-based visual artist and designer whose work explores the relationship between geometry, rhythm, color, and perception.

A four-handed artwork

This collaboration was born from an immediate visual connection between the two artists: a shared interest in composition, bold shapes, graphic balance, and the tension between apparent simplicity and precise construction.

Tristan Huschke laid the foundations of the image: the main forms, the structure, and the color composition. Liorzh then intervened by reorganizing certain elements, working on volumes, light, and shadow, with a digital airbrush approach that runs through part of his visual practice.

The result is a shared piece in which geometric forms, vibrant colors, and material effects create a balance between contemporary design, meditative abstraction, and graphic echoes of the 1970s.

1 + 1 artists: one shared artwork, imagined as a meeting ground rather than a simple addition of styles.

The process

Creation process - Liorzh and Tristan Huschke
From the initial structure to the final image, the process consisted in preserving the graphic strength of the composition while adding depth, light, and texture. The goal was not to overload the image, but to find the point of balance between the two artistic worlds.

Why this collaboration?

Liorzh discovered Tristan Huschke’s work in 2024 and immediately recognized concerns close to his own: a search for visual impact, attention to composition, a taste for essential forms, and bold color palettes.

The collaboration quickly took shape through exchanges of visuals, tests, and variations. Very soon, a shared direction emerged: to create a clear, strong, and balanced image in which every element retains its necessity.

Tristan Huschke

Tristan Huschke is a German-based visual artist and designer. His work mainly develops through graphic design and animation, particularly within music and cultural contexts.

His practice explores the visual translation of sound, rhythm, and inner states, seeking a balance between structure and intuition, symmetry and disruption. His posters, artworks, and animations often function as a visual counterpart to music: they do not simply illustrate it, but attempt to convey its sensation.

Collector note
